TRG has identified that on a global basis there is a shortage of radiologists as there is an increase in the number of imaging procedures and longer patient waiting times for diagnostic results at points of care. Also the digital nature of images allows then to be transmitted to a remote location where the time zone may actually be favourable to provide reads for the client in case of 27/7 and night reporting demands.
